Reporting to the Branch Manager, Skilled Labourers are responsible for the construction of Custom Cubes’ projects. Skilled Labourers are knowledgeable in various trades and are versatile in their skillset. Passionate about quality and precision, and in turn, customer satisfaction. They are skilled and careful, ensuring safe work practices are prioritized.

Responsibilities:
- Prepping surfaces and masking.
- Apply coatings using an airless sprayer.
- Prepping materials in preparation for each job.
- Troubleshooting construction-related issues and involving the Production Supervisor to resolve issues, where necessary.
- Keeping the common work area and construction areas organized and tidy during construction, as needed.
- Fully cleaning up all construction and work areas at the end of each shift.
- Other related duties as required.
- Loading and Unloading trucks with a loader.
Qualifications:
- Experience painting with an airless sprayer.
- Experience in working safely with a variety of power tools.
- 3 years of general trades experience on job sites.
- General knowledge gained from experience, of the majority of the following skills: metal fabrication, steel cutting, carpentry, painting, framing, door and window installation, wall panelling, and finishing.
- Specialized trades experience in addition to 3 years of general trades experience is considered an asset.
- Team-oriented and positive attitude. Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to keep job site tidy and organized.
- Demonstrated effective verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to learn new skills quickly.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Capable of using forklift and loading machines.
